Pine Marten Lodge is a well-presented and immaculate property, offering a serene setting with wildlife sightings and a range of activities nearby. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, comfortable furnishings, and the hot tub, which adds to the relaxing experience. While some guests encountered maintenance issues, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The majority of guests found the lodge to be immaculately clean, with only a few instances of cleanliness concerns such as soiled bedding and a shower mat needing replacement. These appear to be isolated incidents rather than a trend.
The lodge is praised for its peaceful setting and proximity to local attractions and wildlife. However, some guests noted noise from a nearby road and the property's visibility, which slightly impacted the perceived seclusion.
Guests generally found the lodge comfortable, especially the living area and fire. However, there were comments about uncomfortable beds and insufficient seating for larger groups, which affected the comfort score.
Facilities like the hot tub and kitchen equipment are highly regarded, but several maintenance issues such as a non-working dishwasher and lighting problems have been reported. These issues seem to be addressed by the owner when possible.
