Capturing the serenity and splendour of its isolated location, this pet-friendly property offers visitors an opportunity to relax and unwind surrounded by stunning views, and the chance to explore the wonderful wilderness of the Highlands.

Park up in Mallaig before travelling by passenger ferry to your location, venture over the moorland and enjoy the scenic walk to get to your doorstep, or alternatively, travel by charter boat where you can soak in views of the breath-taking coastline and even have the chance to spot porpoises and dolphins!

Inside, be instantly welcomed by the splendidly-designed, open-plan living space, where the natural light illuminates the kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Allow the designated chef to rustle up a delicious meal before gathering around the dining table, or alternatively, let the fresh air in through the French doors and step out onto the enclosed front decking, perfect for alfresco feasts in the summer months. Make the most of the outdoors and indulge a glass of fizz as you admire far-reaching views of Cuilins on Skye, Sleat peninsula on Skye, and the islands of Rhum and Eigg, or light the fire pit on chillier evenings, ready to enjoy a spot of stargazing.

Knoydart, a remote and rugged peninsula in the Scottish Highlands, offers a unique escape from the mainland as it is only accessible by boat or on foot. Nestled between Loch Nevis and Loch Hourn, this area is a haven for walkers with its four munros. The main village, Inverie, features essential amenities like a Post Office, primary school, shop, tearoom, and The Old Forge, the UK's remotest pub. The Knoydart Foundation, which purchased the estate in 1999, manages the land, fostering a thriving community engaged in tourism, forestry, and farming. The Inverie pier supports daily ferry services, facilitating visitor access and essential supplies. With year-round attractions for hill walkers, boatsmen, and artists, Knoydart provides visitors an experience to enjoy its stunning landscapes and vibrant community life.

Note: Guests can be met at the ferry in Knoydart and then travel by minibus; however this route requires a 20-minute walk over moorland which is not suitable for those with lower mobility.

Note: The most convenient and alternative route is by charter boat where guests and luggage can be picked up in Mallaig and dropped in front of the house; this is available April - Sept.

Note: The owners can collect guests from the village/pub via minibus at an additional charge.

Note: The day bed with trundle in the family room sleeps up to two additional guests.
