While some guests found the property comfortable and well-appointed, others noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance that need addressing.
The cleanliness of the property has received mixed feedback. Some guests found the house clean and tidy, while others reported it as unhygienic, with dirty floors and kitchenware. The presence of cobwebs and a dirty fridge were also mentioned.
The location is highly praised for its natural beauty and proximity to Loch Ness. It is considered ideal for families and walkers looking to explore the area. However, some guests noted the presence of noisy neighbours, which impacted their experience.
Guests have found the house comfortable overall, with a warm welcome and cosy atmosphere. However, there were comments about the kitchen size being small for larger groups and issues with hot water which affected the comfort level for some.
The facilities have been met with mixed reviews. Guests appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and the cosy fireplace, but several maintenance issues were raised, including a problematic shower, a sticky front door, and a boiler emitting fumes.
The owners have been commended for their thoughtfulness, particularly during the Christmas season. However, as not all reviews mention gifts or special touches, and to manage expectations, it should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.
This wonderful, semi-detached property lies in the pretty highland village of Lower Foyers on the quiet eastern banks of Loch Ness. Carry the conversation into the kitchen/diner, home to a wealth of appliances to assist in home-cooking, including an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a washing machine so you won’t have to bring your whole wardrobe! Set the dining table for a hearty feast before toasting to a long-awaited getaway with your loved ones. As the night grows darker, retreat upstairs to the bedrooms, offering the choice of a king-size and two doubles, each with light colours and ample wardrobe space for your personal items.
