Guests are delighted with the lodge's stunning location, offering peaceful surroundings and beautiful views across Loch Oich. The property is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. While some minor issues with facilities and maintenance are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests planning return visits.
Reviewers consistently mention the lodge's immaculate condition, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes positively to their stay.
The lodge's location is frequently highlighted as a highlight, with its proximity to attractions like Ben Nevis and Loch Ness, and the serene views it offers. However, some comments about the site's run-down appearance and poor road slightly affect the score.
Guests find the lodge cosy and comfortable, with a well-stocked interior and extra touches that enhance their experience. The spaciousness and the view from the lodge contribute to the comfort level.
While the lodge itself is well-received, there are remarks about the lack of on-site facilities, such as a closed restaurant and non-existent laundry services. Some guests also suggest the need for additional showers and better instructions for appliances.
Hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, including welcome gestures and gifts for both guests and pets. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

We stayed for my partners birthday and to hike Ben Nevis. I had contacted the owner prior to the stay as it was my partners birthday and they had set up balloons all over the lodge. Such accommodating and thoughtful hosts. Would definitely recommend!

The lodge layout is an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge which benefits from the view though the patio doors. Everything that we needed was provided in the lodge. The owner lives in the next lodge and was really helpful with details of any places in the area. We're already planning to stay again.

Lodge is bigger than photos suggest. It was very clean. The kitchen looks tired in places, but you don't come here to admire the kitchen. Some simple instructions as to how some things worked would have been helpful, rather than wade through the manuals. The overall site looks a bit run down, the road is very poor, and none of the facilities were open, so nearest shop is a few miles away. Overall, would love to come again.
