Guests say

Guests have praised the lodge for its stunning views, cleanliness, and peacefulness, making it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding areas. The thoughtful touches from the host, including a gift for a guest's dog, have been well-received. While some minor issues with facilities and maintenance were noted, the overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Reviewers consistently mention the lodge's immaculate cleanliness, with one guest specifically noting it was beautifully presented. This suggests a very high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is frequently highlighted for its fabulous views and tranquillity, as well as being a great base for visiting attractions like Ben Nevis and Loch Ness. The views alone are considered worth the stay.

Guests find the lodge cosy and comfortable, with one review mentioning the lodge is more spacious than photos suggest. The property seems to provide a relaxing and enjoyable environment.

While the lodge itself is well-received, comments about a noisy dishwasher, a need for a second shower, and a lack of clear instructions for appliances suggest some room for improvement. The mention of closed on-site facilities also affects this score.

The host's thoughtfulness is evident in the personal touches, such as a gift for a guest's dog. However, as these gestures may not be consistent for all guests, it's noted that such kindness, while appreciated, is not guaranteed.

Lodge is bigger than photos suggest. It was very clean. The kitchen looks tired in places, but you don't come here to admire the kitchen. Some simple instructions as to how some things worked would have been helpful, rather than wade through the manuals. The overall site looks a bit run down, the road is very poor, and none of the facilities were open, so nearest shop is a few miles away. Overall, would love to come again.

The lodge itself was fantastic as was the location with great views and easy access. However, the so called "facilities" on site were virtually none existent. There was ment to be a onsite restaurant, this was closed for the entirety of our stay. After reading other reviews it's seems to of been closed for a long time. There didn't seem to be any onsite laundry facilities despite what the listing says. Also for a water park there was no activities going on and certainly no sign of any events. The site itself is looked after and the service from the host was great and very helpful. A welcome pack would of saved a lot of hassle. E.g how to get the hot water running properly. It was quite quiet and somewhat erie at times however we did stay just after the main season. Overall we loved our stay and would stay again but feel things could of been made clearer........also , ignore Google maps . P.s thank you for the dog pack it was greatly appreciated!

The view alone is worth the cost. Looking forward to many return visits.
