Bugaboo Cottage in Aberfeldy is highly praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like shortbread on arrival, and the property's location is ideal for exploring the local area. The cottage is described as cosy with underfloor heating and ample space, making it a popular choice for families and groups seeking a pleasant stay.
The majority of guests report the cottage as clean and tidy, with only a single mention of dirty bedroom walls. The overall high standard of cleanliness contributes to the positive experiences of the visitors.
The cottage's location is frequently commended for its proximity to Aberfeldy and local attractions. The ease of access to walks, pubs, and restaurants is a highlight, although one review mentioned the need for a torch at night, slightly impacting the score.
Guests find the beds incredibly comfy and the cottage spacious and cosy, with underfloor heating adding to the comfort. The presence of three bathrooms is also appreciated, enhancing the overall comfort level of the stay.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped for both short and long stays. However, a non-working microwave and a lack of secure Wi-Fi have been noted, which affects the score slightly.
While guests mention thoughtful gestures such as shortbread, milk, and tea on arrival, there is not enough consistent information about the regularity or guarantee of such gifts to provide a score. It should be noted that while these touches are appreciated, they may not be provided for every stay.

One bedroom and en suite is completely separate (own staircase) from the other two bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen is fine for making meals in. Plenty of living room space. Location is a couple of minutes from Aberfeldy where you have some nice coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store etc.

The second sitting room and double room with ensuite (upstairs) was like it's own annex, providing peace and quiet at night time, with the open plan area and two twin ensuite rooms (off the other staircase) were used by the younger two generations. Kitchens and bathrooms were clean, however some surfaces and ledges could do with dusting. The kitchen would benefit a cupboard to store food, as we had to use the wide window shelf, but excellent supply of dishes, pans, and good cooker etc. The second fridge came in useful too. Excellent washing/drying room just outside Bugaboo. We would stay there again if exploring more of the area. Ample parking for two cars on site, but beware the neighborhood watch if visitors park elsewhere in the hamlet! Walking distance from Aberfeldy which has well stocked Co-op, bakery, butchers etc.

The picture of cottage was totally misleading and inside was so dark we had lights on all the time we were in cottage. The details said dog friendly but no way of stopping dog going upstairs so used chairs to barricade. Glad we didnât have children as stairs would have been a big problem. Plus side cottage in good location for seeing the sights and mostly very clean.
