A delightful apartment offers a wonderful hideaway for two in the private wing of a magnificent Victorian Gothic mansion within 500 metres of the market town of Crieff. The secluded holiday home is perfect for a couple who want to explore the beautiful landscape of Perthshire while enjoying all the amenities of shops, pubs and excellent eating spots on their doorstep.
This beautifully furnished retreat has charming period features, including the stone mantelpiece in the lounge and vaulted kitchen ceiling. Vintage furniture items such as the wooden chest which doubles as a coffee table, a pretty round dining table and lovely silver mirror in the bedroom enhance the welcoming atmosphere. Lamps, pictures, plants and a dog bed for visiting canine friends complete the homely feeling.
A flight of steps from the beautiful surrounding gardens leads to the entrance and a bright, spacious lounge. Settle down on the sofa or wing chair in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire to watch TV or listen to music on the Bluetooth speaker. An archway leads to the all-white kitchen, with a distinctive barrel-vaulted roof and a cosy dining area for two. The rear hall opens to a sleek shower room and an inviting double bedroom. This features a splendid sleigh-style bed furnished in restful tones of green and white to lull you off to sleep.
Outside in the large, shared gardens, you can enjoy al fresco dining on a sheltered, decked patio with furniture, including a splendid Gothic-style chair.
