With the West Highland Way passing in front of the cottage and the spectacular Rannoch Moor and Glencoe a short drive away, there is plenty to appeal to the walker or cyclist. Taynuilt Golf Course is also 20 miles away with a spectacular scenic drive to reach it, plus you can delve into your ancestry as Alma Cottage sits at the heart of the Clan Campbell country, and just over an hour's drive away is Glasgow Airport. The village of Tyndrum is situated in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and offers two railway stations, two petrol stations, a Tourist Information Centre, a couple of restaurants, a pub and the famous Green Welly Stop. For walkers, the West Highland Way passes through the village and continues north to the Rannoch Moor and Glencoe.
