New for 2025 is the “BBQ hutte” which is available to hire allowing you to enjoy a real flame BBQ experience and the outdoor “Sauna Shack” complete with cold water plunge barrel.

Portnellan, while secluded, is conveniently close to the nearby beauty spots of Glen Coe, Glen Lyon, Loch Tay, Glen Orchy, Glen Lochay, and Glen Etvie. It's just a 20-minute drive from the iconic Loch Lomond. Other places to visit within easy access include Oban, Stirling, Perth and Fort William. Whooper Lodge is a single-storey cottage with a private south-facing balcony and spectacular mountain views of Ben More.

Outside: There is parking for two cars next to Whooper Lodge. Guests share the estate's amenities, which include a games room, four miles of river and lake fishing, and acres of woodland. Rowing boats, paddle boards, and kayaks are available to borrow.

Additional Information: A travel cot and a highchair are available on request. Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. Dogs are welcome by arrangement.
