We had a fabulous holiday, the cottage is a real home from home.Warm and comfortable with more extras than we expected. The games room was great and additional games and cards for family time and a lovely welcome pack on arrival.A great base for exploring the local area.

It was absolutely marvellous! I only knocked off a point for location and local amenities because it is quite remote and a little tricky to find, but the owner (who lives in the bigger house next to it) was SO helpful and friendly! We quickly oriented and found what we needed. And the remoteness has its own advantages: the big garden, the quiet, and the sheep in their field. You can hear them at night at times. It's absolutely charming. And so quick to drive to so many lovely places, like Drymen, Balloch, Duck Bay marina and so on. We had an absolutely delightful time. The cottage itself is bigger than it looks in the pictures, scrupulously clean, and solidly kitted-out. We could relax even with 3 kids (10, and 7 who run around a lot, and 18 months old who pulls at everything). The owner put out age-friendly play equipment and the 18 month old spent hours just on the slide, while the older two enjoyed air hockey, table tennis, football, and many other things.
