About this property

Tucked away in a quiet and scenic location, with close proximity to the Anglesey coastline is Morlais. A welcoming, three-bedroom, end property next to open fields and enjoying stunning views of the estuary, leading to the wonderful, spacious sandy beach, and Eryri – Snowdon Mountain range; nature in all its glory. After parking up, enter your new home from home to be impressed by the light and airy living/dining room, the well-equipped kitchen and the suntrap conservatory that looks out onto the front garden. Or maybe, dine alfresco in the purpose-built barbecue area and patio, sipping on a cold glass of wine as you admire your beautiful setting; the third garden is an enclosed, lawned area. At any time of the day, probably your most favourite room, would be the first-floor sitting room with stunning sea and mountain views. Sit back, read, plan your day, look out of the bay window, and take in the beautiful view and relax! When the evening draws to a close, escape to one of three neatly-presented bedrooms, each with plenty of storage and a charming nautical theme extending through to nod to your coastal location. Aberffraw on the West Coast of Anglesey is a beautiful, quiet seaside village, recently named by the Telegraph newspaper as one of the 30 greatest villages in Britain, untouched by mass tourism. Explore the beautiful, circular coastal path that is literally outside of your front gate. This walk will lead you to the historical beach location of St Cwyfan’s Church, or as it’s known locally, the Church in the Sea, taking the countryside walking route back to your abode. The village has a shop/Post Office, lovely tea rooms and bar, art gallery and nearby Cidery, or you could use the local bus service to explore plenty of places of interest. Turn left out of the village, approximately 4 miles on is the larger and busier coastal water sports village of Rhosneigr, that has shops, pubs, and cafés; an 18-hole golf course can also be found here. Turn right out of the village and find the breath-taking Newborough Forest with walking and cycling paths, and in the village itself, following the road to the outstanding Llanddwyn Beach, and if the tide is out, visit the historic and beautiful island of Santes/Saint Dwynwen. Visit the National Trust property of Plas Newydd, or maybe visit the Anglesey Sea Zoo. Located on Holy Island is the South Stack Lighthouse and RSPB café. Spot seabirds nesting on the cliffs, enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area. In the port town of Holyhead maybe take a day trip to Ireland or visit the Holyhead Breakwater Park; Holyhead and Llangefni have further shops and supermarkets to take advantage of. Drive over the Britannia Bridge or the famous Thomas Telford Menai Suspension Bridge, escape to Anglesey and enjoy a memorable stay at Morlais Aberffraw.

The historic, seaside village of Aberffraw, nestles serenely beside the banks of the tidal River Ffraw, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the Heritage Coast of Anglesey. Holding an exalted place in Welsh history, this sleepy village, known as “the Land of the Prince of Wales”, held the title of Capital of North Wales, between the 9th and 13th Centuries. Once an important port, the village now consists of the ancient Church of St Beuno, a picturesque pack horse bridge, a selection of craft shops and tea rooms, a charming village pub and a beautiful white sandy beach with stunning, panoramic views of Snowdonia. Explore nearby National Nature Reserve spots at Newborough Warren and Malltraeth Pool, surrounded by sweeping sand dunes and marshes, or enjoy a relaxing day on the award winning beach at Llanddwyn Island. The area is renowned for its fascinating birdlife and breathtaking coastal scenery, and with the renowned watersports centre at Rhosneigr situated just 4 miles away, this is the ideal location for a varied and enjoyable holiday.

Very peaceful area. Our son enjoyed sitting and reading in the conservatory. Would definitely look at coming back. Owners were extremely accommodating to request to bring extra dog and add additional night at short notice. Thank you
