The nearest village offering amenities and places to eat is the friendly seaside village of Rhosneigr, just under four miles away, you can find all you need here and can take advantage of its many opportunities for activities. The Funsport shop and school is the local place to hire anything from wetsuits to bodyboards to complete kitesurfing setup, and they can even offer watersports tuition including surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and paddleboarding lessons. Rhosneigr Beach is home to excellent conditions for windsurfing and surfing, some of the best in the area, so is well worth visiting for the high waves, perfect for riding and jumping. Enjoy relaxing on the sands, only moving to head to one of the ice cream shops, or to grab some fish and chips for lunch. Golfers can delight in playing on the Anglesey Golf Club course, the only links course on Anglesey, it is an 18-hole course and has a backdrop of the beautiful Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. Cycling through the countryside near Rhosneigr is thoroughly enjoyable thanks to the undulating farmland, lanes and farm tracks, as well as country roads, with beautiful scenery all around.
