Llanerchymedd, a former market town in the heart of picturesque Anglesey, serves as a gateway to some of the island's best beaches. More than 250 cobblers lived in Llanerchymedd, and there were numerous corn mills to supply the cobblers with food as well as traders at the market. In addition to the old station cafe and two village pubs serving food, there is a small village shop, chip shop, and launderette to meet your basic needs. Llyn Cefni and Llyn Alaw's freshwater reservoirs offer a circular walk and numerous country trails. Picnics and walks in nature can be had nearby at Mynydd Bodafon Mountain. Benllech and Moelfre are the closest coastal villages. As a small fishing village in Wales, Moelfre has a beautiful sandy beach, a working lifeboat station and two top-notch pubs. Benllech, Lligwy, and the lovely Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open sands and abundant birdlife, are just a short drive away. There are a plethora of dining options in and around these neighbourhoods. You can easily explore the island and Snowdonia National Park from this convenient location.

We brought this up with yourselves and you contacted the owner and they brought the key and unlocked it. It obviously hadn't been used for sometime as it had not been cleaned and had cobwebs all around. We booked this cottage purely because it had two toilets as advertised on your site. This should be corrected for future holiday makers. The whole cottage needs some love and care, the cottage had not been cleaned at all. The cleaner had not cleaned the property before we arrived and had to come in the next day to clean the cottage, but they did not wash the floors in the kitchen/diner or in the bathroom or wash the bath out. We had already said that we had found toothpaste all on the shelf in the bathroom and there were cobwebs around the sink pedestal. The cloth on the table hadn't been wiped as we found ketchup marks on it. The fridges hadnt been cleaned as the one in the kitchen had an earwig in the door and was not wiped out properly and the one in the back utility room had not been wiped out and one shelf had been removed from the fridge and had cobwebs and was very dirty. The cupboards had cobwebs in the kitchen was in disarray. The plates and crockery was all over the place. The kick board on the base units were falling down. The extractor fan was really dirty which the cleaner did wipe but it did not work at all. We didn't even have a potatoe peeler but the owners very kindly brought one up for us. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the cottage and the electrical appliances had not been PAT tested this year they are out of date. I have another holiday booked with yourselves but I'm worried that we will have the same problems with our next cottage we have booked for next year. Do you not do send anyone to check on your cottages to see that they are in a good state of repair and fit for purpose.

Nowhere to walk the dog from this property as no footpath outside either way. No ensuite for my elderly friend and no second double bed which we preferred. Sykes need to sort out the electricity at thd West Cottage properly and have better communication with customers. A full day on Sunday ruined and had to pack again at short notice. All we have is a refund of the difference between rental costs. Hardly good customer service. No follow up phone call made. Very disappointed with Sykes/Menai and would not recommend the company. A week spoiled
