Guests say

Guests have had enjoyable stays at Ty Bach - Beaumaris, praising its cleanliness, tranquil location, and comfort. The enclosed garden is appreciated by dog owners, and the proximity to the beach and local attractions adds to the charm. Some initial communication issues and clarity on policies were noted, but overall, the cottage offers a peaceful and well-equipped retreat.

The cottage is consistently described as exceptionally clean, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that guests appreciate.

The location is tranquil and close to the beach, castle, restaurants, and shops. However, some guests found it difficult to locate the property initially, which slightly impacts the score.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property peaceful, contributing to a comfortable stay. The garden is also a highlight for both guests and their pets.

While the reviews mention a well-equipped property, garden facilities, and a fire pit, there is not enough detailed information on the overall maintenance and range of facilities to provide a score.

There are no mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the property owner in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

The most beautiful sunrises may be seen in Beaumaris, a well-known ancient town on the Isle of Anglesey that is situated on the Menai Strait and overlooks the Snowdonia Mountain range. It is also well-known as a significant hub for sailing, with its Edward I-era mediaeval castle (now a World Heritage site) and Victorian pier, jail, and courthouse. With a long history, Beaumaris still has a lot of its original mediaeval street layout. The town's environment, diversity of architectural styles and eras, variable scale, open spaces, different roofing, and overall quality all play a significant role in the character of the community. In addition to a golf course close by, the town offers a good assortment of stores, eateries, and bars, as well as options for boat trips and fishing. Red Wharf Bay, also known as Traeth Coch (Red Beach), is a sizable bay along the coast that is well-known for its spectacular sunsets. Due to the bay's extreme shallowness, approximately 25 square kilometres (10 square miles) of sand are exposed at low tide, making it safe for swimming, excellent for family outings, fishing, and miles of breathtakingly beautiful hikes. The port of Holyhead, farther away, has frequent ferry connections to Dublin. Beaumaris is a great starting point for seeing Wales because of its ideal location on the south coast of the charming Isle of Anglesey and proximity to the magnificent Snowdonia mountains.

We had the best holiday and made some lovely memories. We would definitely stay here again.

BUT we did not have any directions as to how to get from Beaumaris to the cottage, the sat Nat took us up Church Street and unfortunately we ended on a golf course, and had to phone the owner for directions. I would have been helpful is we had been told to drive through Beaumaris after passing the car park on your left, take the next left through the housing estate, then you come to a t junction (church is on your right) turn left cottage is on the right..
