Glan Dwr is a holiday cottage in a pretty spectacular location on Anglesey overlooking the Menai Straits. Having panoramic sea views and across to Snowdonia, the breathtaking views are ever-changing. Whilst the location is stunning, inside is also a delight with windows and seating spaces designed to maximise the views. Comfortable, welcoming and cosy, this is a fabulous holiday cottage for those wanting a break on Anglesey.

Take the steps down from the roadside parking space and drink in the stunning views. The kitchen has everything you need for rustling up tasty meals! There’s an AGA, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and toaster.The utility room adjacent has a fridge/freezer, washing machine and drier. Just off this utility is a ground floor is a loo and wash hand basin.

The sitting room is a wonderful space - it has a large, curved bay window with seating from which you can soak up the sea views. There are squishy sofas and chairs set around the warming open fire, ideal for adding warmth in the winter. For entertainment, there’s a large flat screen TV, DVD and CD player.

The dining room has a table and chairs sitting up to eight, making it ideal for family meals. There’s a feature fireplace but it’s not in use.

Glan Dwr has four bedrooms which all have sublime views of the Menai Strait and the mountains of Snowdonia as a backdrop.

Bedroom one is the master room with a Queen sized bed, vanity sink, and French windows that lead out onto a small, curved balcony.

Bedroom two has a king sized bed. Bedroom three is a double and bedroom four is a twin.

There is a bathroom with bath, loo and wash hand basin and a shower room with shower, loo and wash hand basin.

Outside is a delightful garden with pretty plants, winding paths and seating space to soak up the views. In fact, the grounds go right to the water's edge where you’ll find a wooden dock. There is a wide pavement outside on the roadside where you can park your car.

Glan Dwr translates to ‘waterside’, which perfectly encapsulates this fabulous holiday cottage. This is the ideal base for a holiday on Anglesey if you want to park up the car and relax. Just sit in the bay windows and watch the boats go by, sit outside with a glass of wine and listen to the sounds of the Straits or you could even crab off the dock! If you can tear yourself away from Glan Dwr, you’re perfectly position for exploring some of the best bits of both Anglesey and Snowdonia. Beaumaris, with its shops, places to eat and drink and castle is a short drive to the east. Head east to Menai Bridge, which you could walk to in 25 minutes, for more shops, pubs and a gallery, or you could even jump on the Rib Ride! There’s a pub within walking distance, too. Whether you stay put or get out and explore, Glan Dwr makes for a beautiful holiday base on Anglesey.

Glan Dwr sleeps up to eight people, but it can be booked with Glan Dwr Bach which is upstairs and sleeps a further four people. Ideal for a group of family or friends looking to stay together. The apartment above has its own entrance and does not have access to the garden or jetty.

Collection of cottages between Menai Bridge and Beaumaris, enjoying fantastic views over the Menai Straits. Five minutes drive in either direction will take you to a great selection of shops and cafes. A further ten minute drive will take you to some lovely sandy beaches.
