Guests say

Hunters Cottage in Tyn-y-Gongl, Anglesey, is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its cleanliness, prime location near the beach and local amenities, and comfortable interiors. The property boasts a hot tub, which is a highlight for many, although some guests noted maintenance issues. The enclosed garden is appreciated by pet owners, and the property is described as spacious and well-equipped.

The majority of guests found Hunters Cottage to be very clean, with only a few isolated reports of cleanliness issues. The positive remarks about the property's tidiness suggest a high standard of cleanliness overall.

The location of Hunters Cottage is highly praised for its proximity to beaches, local shops, and restaurants. The convenience and attractiveness of the area contribute to a very positive experience for guests.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, with a warm and cosy atmosphere. However, some guests mentioned issues with mattresses and seating arrangements, which slightly affected the comfort score.

The facilities, including a well-received hot tub, are appreciated by guests, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as problems with showers, TVs, and the hot tub. These issues have led to a slightly lower score in this category.

While some guests mentioned welcome packs and the provision of amenities like tea and coffee, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful touches or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, when provided, enhance the guest experience.

. The only feedback I would give is that there were no matches for the log burner… And more loo paper would be appreciated!

The location of the house was excellent and well situated to visit most things and the beach there was one of the nicest we visited. The house has the making of a great property and the hot tub was well used, but the house is in need of some TLC. There are some issues that need attention some of which we reported during our stay, in our opinion the house would benefit from some redecoration in places. There is the smell of drains in the main bathroom which was not pleasant. We also found the mattresses very firm and really uncomfortable which for us affected our break as we couldn’t get good quality sleep. For these reasons this would mean we wouldn’t use this property again.

All amenities well thought out. Spotlessly clean. Hot tub was enjoyed by all the family, and our dog had plenty of space in the house and secure garden. Kids are asking me to book again!
