Nestled on the outskirts of the small village of Tyn-y-Gongl, on the Isle of Anglesey, in North Wales, is this superb white-stone cottage, in a desirably secluded and remote location. Internally, the property has been renovated to provide a warm and welcoming base for friends and families seeking a rural escape. The property offers many charming, period features such as exposed beams and original stone walls. Discover a spacious open-plan living room and dining area, where you can look forward to unwinding into the evening, catching up with your favourite shows, with the warming woodburning stove providing that extra bit of warmth in the colder months. The kitchen area is amply-equipped with everything you will need to set you up for a weekend in the countryside, whilst the dining room in the sitting area is perfect for getting together over a scrumptious meal and discussing the day's activities. There is also a games room, housing a dartboard, table football and a pool table, so you your little ones can spend some time in the evenings having some fun and friendly competition. Retire to one of the four well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a ground-floor twin, two first-floor doubles and one first-floor single, all of which have a range of furniture for storage purposes. Choose to have a relaxing soak in the bath after a long and tiring day, the perfect way to wash away those aches and pains. Enjoy the evening sunshine out on the patio and let the dog run around freely - fully enclosed for your convenience. A few miles away is the wonderful Red Wharf Bay beach, where families can go to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon sunbathing, swimming or playing a variety of beach games. Also, take the opportunity to explore the coastline walking or cycling, with stunning views in every direction. Oriel Môn is a wonderful museum and arts centre, providing you with an insight into the history and culture of Anglesey through contemporary displays and modern art. Any one of the nearby rivers or lakes are there for those who enjoy a variety of watersporting activities, perfect for your summer escape. Rhous is an excellent base for touring all the Isle of Anglesey has to offer.
Benllech is a large village on the Isle of Anglesey, Wales, a few miles away from Red Wharf Bay. Discover a selection of pubs, restaurants, shops and supermarkets for all of your amenities. Itâs up for sale and whilst we were there we had people looking around to buy which was nice! Not able to dispose of rubbish as bins full until the day before we left (10 day stay) we had to keep full bin bags in the utility room. Mice in the living room, horses escaped into the property. Pool table wrecked all pool cues no tips, balls missing. Paid alot of money to stay not worth it very disappointed.

Firstly the instructions to reach the property were wrong - the last instruction was to turn left into the property drive when it should have said to the right. The drive was overgrown on both sides with brambles rubbing the sides of our car. There were weeds 2-3ft high outside the front of the cottage (not like the picture on the web site) and the 'lawn' at the back was a similar height (not much use for sitting out on a balmy afternoon or evening - there was no garden furniture to sit on anyway!). It was obvious the garden had not been touched at all this year and one wondered about last year! The drive and weeds were cut down during our visit, it took two men two days to do it! Inside the cottage, there were no towels on our arrival (we were told the cleaner had 'forgotten to leave them'). Three were brought on the Saturday evening of our arrival and some more 48 hours later after another reminder to the owner. No spare toilet rolls were provided, the cleaner claiming that was at the owner's instruction. Other basic items not provided but which would normally be expected in such properties were a tea pot, a tin opener, washing up liquid and more than one wine glass. Most of the cutlery and crockery was water marked so needed washing before using None of the electrical equipment e.g. kettle, toaster etc. appeared to carry PAT testing labels. The property COULD be made very attractive to visitors with some thought and attention to details
