Guests say

Guests generally appreciate the Bryn Eira Tack Room for its quiet location, comfortable beds, and thoughtful welcome packs. The property is praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and well-equipped kitchen. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be very clean, with only a few mentioning issues such as cobwebs and sticking doors. The positive remarks about cleanliness far outweigh the negatives, indicating a high standard of cleanliness overall.

The location is highly praised for being quiet, peaceful, and convenient for exploring Anglesey and nearby attractions. Its proximity to motorways and the availability of parking are appreciated, contributing to a high score for location.

Comfort is well-regarded with guests mentioning cosy bedrooms, comfortable beds, and a warm welcome. However, some guests noted the sofas and beds could be more comfortable, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities are generally seen as good, with well-stocked kitchens and ample space. However, there are several comments about tired kitchen cabinets, a sticking fridge door, and a desire for access to the games room, indicating room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

Guests often mention the thoughtful touches like welcome packs, which include treats and essentials. While these are greatly appreciated, it's important to note that such amenities may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

About this property

The Tack Room makes up part of the L-shaped Bryn Eira barn conversion which has a courtyard at its centre. This sweet holiday cottage is nestled near peaceful Anglesey countryside there will be some restrictions about dogs being on leads in some woodlands and on beaches and is on the edge of the famous village of Llanfairpwll. Just nip off the A55 and you’re more or less at the door!

There’s an open plan living space with kitchen, dining and seating areas. This allows for a sociable holiday - who ever is cooking dinner, can chat with the rest of the family at the same time!

The kitchen has an electric oven/hob, a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and microwave. The round dining table seats up to four people.

The squishy sofas are ideal for curling up on with a good book. Alternatively, there is a TV to keep you entertained after a day of exploring.

The master bedroom is a good size with a king size bed and ensuite shower room with shower, loo and wash hand basin.

To the back of the holiday cottage is a twin room with a wardrobe and dresser for storing your clothes.

The large bathroom has a shower, basin, loo and towel rail.

There is off-road parking at the front of the holiday cottage with spaces allocated. At the back of the cottage is a small courtyard which you can sit out in with your morning cup of tea or coffee and enjoy some fresh air.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch - or Llanfair PG to the locals- is an ideal location for a holiday cottage. You’re close to some of Anglesey and North Wales’ finest beaches, attractions, walks and activities. The village itself has two pubs, a Co-Op, and a petrol garage, meaning the essentials are within easy reach.

If there are more than four in your party you can also rent out Bryn Eira Stables (1008716), which sleeps ten and is located on the western side of the courtyard.

Affectionately known by the locals as Llanfair PG, the Anglesey village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogogoch, also known by its shortened name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll has the longest place name in Europe. It was artificially named back in 1860 as a publicity stunt for the railway station and translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave". Situated close to the Menai Straits, just off the Britannia Bridge, Llanfair PG has much to offer families. After having your photo taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station, head into the popular visitors centre for local tourist information. A short walk past the octagonal Toll House, towards Menai Bridge, will bring you to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column which, for a small fee, you can climb the 115 steps to the top for superb views of the countryside and coastline. Nelson’s Monument can be easily reached on the banks of the Menai Straits, passing St Mary’s Church on the way. With several good pubs with restaurants, craft and gift shops and cafes, plus the beautiful Anglesey coastline within walking distance, there is plenty to entertain you all year round.

Fully enjoyed our stay. Double bedroom had large bed with on suite shower. Very powerful too. Lots of room. The twin was very comfortable and the toilet and shower are just outside the bedroom. Everything we needed was there. Towels and bedding supplied and very clean. Just need to bring your own tea towels. Easy parking and no issue with WiFi apart from logging back in if not used for while. Looking forward to returning again in the future.
