About this property

Llannerch-Y-Medd 4.3 miles. Set amongst the quaint backdrop of Anglesey's countryside in Capel Coch near Llannerch-y-Medd is this wonderful farm building conversion of No 4 The Shippon. Enjoying a rustic, stone-built exterior, this cottage is a lovely base for a family of four Anglesey staycation. After passing through the electric gates, park up in one of the two off-road spaces before soaking up your peaceful location. Make your way inside to find an open-plan living space, made light and airy by its vaulted ceiling and Velux windows. Snuggle up on the sofa after a busy day of sightseeing and switch on the TV to enjoy a show together; why not bring out your favourite tipple too, you're on holiday after all? Make your way over to the well-presented kitchen, where a range of appliances await, ready for those home-cooked meals the designated chef will prepare. These meals can be enjoyed at the spacious dining table, or out on the patio during the sunny months. When the day is over, choose one of the two attractive bedrooms to enjoy a well-earned rest in, the first of which is a ground-floor king size, and the other comprising a mezzanine family room with a double and a daybed. Concluding the property's interior is a superbly fitted, ground-floor bathroom, where refreshing soaks and showers can be enjoyed before you embark on your explorations around Anglesey. Perched on the Isle of Anglesey, surrounded by the countryside is this quaint village of Llannerch-y-Medd. A great place for immersing yourself in the Welsh culture, the village boasts a 60% Welsh-speaking population. Visitors are also well-catered to here, thanks to its array of tea rooms and cafes, where you can stop for a bite to eat before wandering to Red Wharf Bay or Benllech for days on the coast; alternatively, you can venture to the mainland for a day out in Bangor or Snowdonia National Park.
