Head through to the stylish kitchen to be met with glossy units and all the equipment needed to rustle up romantic dinners for two. These can be enjoyed around the farmhouse-style table or out in the enclosed garden overlooking the fields. At the end of each memorable day together, go upstairs to the gorgeous king-size bedroom, where exposed beams and a contemporary en-suite shower room ensure a restful night's sleep. Sip coffee made from the machine out on the patio in the morning, or you could even sizzle up a breakfast storm on the BBQ.

When you're not unwinding in the garden, visit the local farm animals by moseying around the seven-acre smallholding. Explore the nearby trails by foot or bike, including Talley Woodlands (1.5 miles), which boasts challenging climbs and incredible, far-reaching views of the glorious Welsh countryside. Stock up the cupboards in nearby Llandeilo (7.5 miles) or hop in the car and visit the National Botanic Garden of Wales (15 miles).
