Travel a little further afield to the market town of Llanelli or to The National Botanic Garden of Wales, for an engrossing walk around the gardens, which is also home to a tropical butterfly house, as well as cycling along the South coast at The Millennium Coastal Path, offering amazing sights of the sea. You can also spend time at The Wetlands then enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea at Lanelly House. Settled near the River Towy, is the county town of Carmarthen, home to a 12th century castle, Gwili Steam Railway for a scenic ride through Wales and Oriel Myrddin Gallery to view contemporary art and culture.
