Guests say

Frog Cottage is a charming and cosy property, praised for its dog-friendly features, underfloor heating, and proximity to local beaches and a welcoming pub. Guests appreciate the homely atmosphere, enclosed garden, and scenic walks right on the doorstep. While some guests noted issues with maintenance and a lack of basic provisions, the overall experience is positive, with the location and character of the cottage standing out.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage to be well-presented, though there were comments about a dirty food cupboard and old food left behind. The presence of an intermittent sewage smell was also noted, affecting the overall cleanliness experience.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to walking paths, beaches, and local amenities like the pub and shop. The scenic and quiet setting in Gower is a highlight for many guests.

Guests found the cottage comfortable and homely, with comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere enhanced by a log burner. However, some guests mentioned issues with a soft mattress and steep garden steps, which affected the comfort level for those with mobility issues.

While the cottage is well-equipped and furnished, guests reported maintenance issues such as a faulty radiator, small ensuite bathroom, and inadequate kitchen equipment. The presence of labelled messages was also noted as excessive.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the host. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Nice relaxing place to stay. The area is beautiful. Friendly pub round the corner.

I think the cottage was very much as we anticipated from the description.

The cottage is lovely & is in a great location. We were unable to access the garden unfortunately as the 2 steps up to it are so deep & have no rail, so those mobility problems couldn't get up or down them.
