While some guests have noted areas for improvement, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Cleanliness has received mixed feedback. While some guests found the cottage spotless, others reported issues with dog hair, cobwebs, and a need for a deeper clean. The presence of both positive and negative comments suggests variability in the cleaning standards.

The location of Robin Cottage is highly praised for its central position in Gower, with easy access to various beaches and local attractions. The convenience of a nearby pub and shop adds to the appeal, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, mentioning its cosiness and warmth. The beds are described as very comfy, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, a few concerns about steep stairs and maintenance issues slightly affect the overall comfort score.

Facilities at the cottage are adequate, with a well-equipped kitchen and enclosed garden for dogs. However, guests have pointed out maintenance issues such as broken garden furniture, overgrown gardens, and the need for modernisation, indicating room for improvement.

There is insufficient information regarding any thoughtful gestures or gifts provided by the hosts, as no reviews mention these aspects. Therefore, it cannot be confirmed if guests receive such amenities during their stay.

Beautiful location, friendly people and lovely hotel with good food nearby.

  • Mrs Kyte

Curtains hanging off the rails, wood all rotten around the bath because the shower curtain was hanging off so impossible to stop the water splashing all over the floor Black mould on the walls, plastic flowers in bedroom mouldy and covered in dust, gardens front and back overgrown and full of weeds and prickles. Washing up bowl disgusting and badly stained sink drainer etc. barely enough toilet paper for two people for a week and a dribble of washing up liquid.

Cottage is in a good location for walking and exploring the Gower Peninsula. Unfortunately the cottage is not as shown in the photos. The grass was overgrown and the patio poorly maintained. The deckchairs had seen better days. Livingroom smelt of dogs and needs a deep clean as mentioned by other reviews. Kitchen well equipped.
