Shamrock Cottage receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches, including welcome packs and dog treats. It's well-equipped and serves as an ideal base for exploring North Wales, with easy access to beaches and local attractions. While parking and the absence of an upstairs toilet are noted, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.
Guests consistently commend the cottage for its immaculate presentation and spotlessness, indicating a very high standard of cleanliness that contributes significantly to the comfort of their stay.
The cottage is appreciated for its convenient location, ideal for exploring North Wales and within walking distance to beaches and Conwy. Some guests mention parking difficulties, but the location's benefits seem to outweigh these concerns.
The comfort of the cottage is frequently highlighted, with special mentions of a comfortable bed and well-furnished living space. A few guests noted the sofa could be more comfortable, but overall, the cottage is seen as a cosy and welcoming retreat.
The property is praised for being well-equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, and reliable Wi-Fi. Some guests suggest improvements such as an upstairs toilet and a grab rail in the bath, but the facilities generally meet guests' needs effectively.
Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful gestures, such as welcome packs and dog treats. While these are highly appreciated, it's important to note that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The Cottage was just as we remembered, stunning! The garden has had a full renovation and looks fantastic, it was quite the sun trap. The kitchen is full of high end appliances and equipment and I loved cooking in there each evening. The Cottage has a dishwasher which for me us an incredible treat! No washing up! The furnishings and fabrics were also of high quality, I loved the throws and cushions so much I will be ordering for home! Another fabulous stay. A perfect home from home and incredible base for exploring Wales! Xx

I struggled up and down the stairs in the night ( as they are quite steep and I have a dodgy knee). The bath towels provided, were a very good quality lovely and clean just not very big. I must express how beautifully clean and well equipped the cottage was, it was a great base to explore from.
