About this property
A charming end of terrace cottage nestled under the Conwy Castle walls. Occupying a truly enviable position on the quayside, this property commands stunning panoramic harbour views and great access to Conwy's shops, pubs and restaurants. The cottage has been lovingly designed to offer couples quality accommodation. The open plan living area has a large multi-fuel stove, ideal for those cosy nights whilst you sink into the fantastic, oversized sumptuous armchairs. Upstairs in the master bedroom a super king-size bed with views over the river awaits, with an en-suite bathroom designed without compromise including underfloor heating. Jasmin Cottage is the perfect base for adventures in Snowdonia and along the North Wales coast, with excellent walking, clean beaches, sailing, golf and activity sports all within a stone's throw. In Conwy walk the walls of Conwy Castle, explore the National Trust's Aberconwy House, or further afield visit the world-famous Bodnant Gardens, Victorian Llandudno or the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, which boasts over 100 miles of spectacular coastline. The World Heritage Site of Conwy is a centre of bustling activity including festivals and fairs, music recitals, art galleries and wonderful historical attractions. Conwy has some proud historic traditions including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October. World famous for its historical and architectural heritage, there is also a fabulous selection of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels to be found here. The town was built for King Edward I between 1283 - 87, and Conwy Castle is recognised as one of the most exceptional triumphs of medieval military architecture because of its distinctive, elongated shape, eight huge towers, two barbicans, and magnificent bow-shaped hall. Snowdonia National Park, clean sandy beaches and stunning scenery are all close to this fascinating town.
