Guests say

Dunromin in Llandudno is a well-regarded holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, prime location near shops and the beach, and its spaciousness. Guests appreciate the secure garden, especially those with pets, and the property's overall comfort. The owners are commended for their responsiveness and hospitality. Some minor maintenance issues are noted, but the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests planning to return.

The majority of guests found Dunromin to be very clean, with only a few isolated comments about specific cleanliness issues. The positive remarks about the property's tidiness suggest a high standard of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its convenience, being within walking distance to the beach, shops, and local attractions. The ease of access to Llandudno's amenities contributes to the high score.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, with ample space and cosy settings. Some guests mentioned less comfortable furniture, but these seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

Facilities are well-received, with the property described as well-equipped. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as plumbing and heating, which suggests room for improvement.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful touches like a Christmas tree and gifts, these are not consistently referenced across the reviews. As such, it is not possible to accurately score this category, but the gestures when mentioned are appreciated.

First thing to say is the cleanliness of the property .. perfect. Garden area immaculately clean and safely gated for our Shnauzer (and for guests with young children) Property grew on us and the dinning area light and spacious … kitchen very well equipped… location as in description .. a short walk away from Prom and centre… All in all a very happy stay … weather brilliant which always makes for happy guests !!!!

However, it is on a busy road, with a local school and a housing estate nearby. Directions were good, and it was easy to find. No issues with the keys etc. Lots of handy leaflets, menus etc, which is a great idea. Met the owner as we were leaving, very friendly. Some areas of the house were not as clean as expected. The toilet cistern is all cracked, and the seat moves around. The toilet roll holder needs to be tightened, and the plumbing isn't the best. The couches are not very comfortable, and felt quite sticky. It.looks like they have been dyed from cream, to a darker colour. We couldn't find keys to open the shed, so couldn't sit outside In the garden. This was a shame as it was lovely weather. It did say the keys were In a box at the back door, but the only box we could find was full of cigarette ends. The table outside was all rusty. It would be nice if we were given 2 keys,, as not everyone wants to go to the same places and be back at the same time. As a dog owner, it would be nicer to have the garden all grass, instead of the gravel area. Our dog nearly swallowed one of the stones. I have read that most of the reviews are great, and I don't mean to sound negative. As I have said, the house is nice, plenty rooms, spacious enough for a family. Good location for walking into town, lots of shops nearby. Beds were very comfortable, and nice clean bedding. Good communications and friendly owner. Just a few issues, which could make it a better stay.

(4 adults) We all loved the property! Has everything you could possibly need! Beds and pillows are so comfy too! A few minutes walk to your left takes you to a big shopping retail park and the town centre is just minutes from that! So handy! We will definitely return! Thankyou!
