Guests say

Guests appreciate the stunning, peaceful location and the thoughtful welcome pack provided at this rustic cottage. The property offers a comfortable stay with good internet and essential amenities like a washing machine. Some guests suggest minor improvements for an enhanced experience.

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.

The location is highly praised for its rural charm and stunning views, providing a sense of escape. However, access via narrow roads may be challenging for some drivers.

The accommodation is generally considered comfortable, though some guests found the seating worn and the beds and pillows of poor quality. Soft bedding preference is subjective.

Facilities like good internet and a washing machine are appreciated, but issues with the TV remote and suggestions for better quality glassware indicate room for improvement in maintenance and facilities.

The welcome pack is mentioned positively, indicating thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed with every stay.

Lletty is one of 10 self-catering cottages on The Bodnant Estate, a strikingly beautiful agricultural estate in North Wales. Set in hilly and wooded countryside in the lower reaches of the Conwy Valley, it commands spectacular views across to Snowdonia. Stone cottages and farm buildings have been restored using traditional materials and techniques, and the Estate supports farming and encourages other rural activities. Various houses and cottages in scenic positions on the Estate are available for rent as holiday lets. Come and stay in one of them - and enjoy walking on the many miles of private woodland paths winding through the Estate.

An historic three-storey Grade II stone holiday farmhouse dating from the 17th century, rescued from dereliction and sympathetically restored leading to an award from the Conwy Civic Society during 2009 for the restoration of the farmhouse. The property is situated high above the Eglwysbach valley, with fine pastoral views. It has many period features; two vaulted rooms, a two-storey room where the warmth of the animals was used to heat the farmhouse, exposed beams, wooden and slate floors, bread oven, etc. The separate annexe provides accommodation for two guests.

For smaller groups this property is available to book with Lletty to accommodate six guests. There are a number of other properties available to book at the Bodnant Estate; Ty Newydd, sleeping eight guests, Ty Cerrig, sleeping seven guests, Garth Iwrch, sleeping four guests, Bryn Rhydd, sleeping four guests, Tydden Derwen, sleeping five guests, Minafon sleeping two guests, Ty Ucha’r Ffordd, sleeping two guests, Bryn Derw, sleeping 4 guests and Bryn Mawr, sleeping 7 guests.

Excellent accommodation welll fitted out and delicious welcome box but remote with access on very narrow roads.

Beautiful location and property. I would say that you would not want to bring a low or precious car as roads leading up to property are difficult to navigate. It didn't bother us but I think some nervous drivers could find it a challenge. Good internet which was a nice surprise. Tv remote needs sorting. A nightmare to change channels. Great to have washing machine. Wonderful Welsh food shop in easy distance. Will be back.
