Guests say

Greystones is a well-maintained and spacious property with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. It is appreciated for its quietness despite its proximity to a van rental company and a railway line. The property is within walking distance to the beach and town, making it a convenient base for exploring Llandudno and the surrounding areas.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is consistently described as very clean and well-presented, with several guests highlighting the spotless condition upon arrival. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experience of the guests.

The location receives mixed reviews. While it is noted for being quiet and conveniently close to the beach and town, some guests find the industrial setting and proximity to the railway line less appealing. However, the central location for local amenities is often seen as a positive aspect.

Guests find the beds extremely comfortable and the property spacious, which contributes to a relaxing stay. The presence of a downstairs bedroom and bathroom is also appreciated for accessibility. However, some guests noted issues with heating and outdoor seating comfort.

The property is praised for its well-equipped kitchen and ample space. However, some guests mention minor issues with facilities such as blunt knives, a high-placed microwave, and a lack of cleaning supplies for the required end-of-stay cleaning. The garden and outdoor furniture also received some criticism.

The property is equipped with thoughtful touches like stair gates, children's garden furniture, and plastic crockery. Guests have mentioned the provision of Welsh cakes, which is a nice gesture, though it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary.

However, we found the kitchen to be inadequate for the number of guests, lacking counter space and proper utensils. There was no suitable dining area for the family. The house is located on the outskirts of town, in a cul-de-sac within a van rental car park, and next to the van rental business, leading to traffic and activity at various times. The front of the house overlooks a walled flyover, and the outside space requires attention as the fences are scruffy, the garden path needs weeding, and the outdoor table is unsuitable. The view is uninteresting, and there is no suitable area to relax outdoors. Overall, the outside space reminded us of a prison yard not somewhere inviting to relax on holiday.

A few suggestions to make our stay better:- Kitchen scissors, Plastic Cups for children, a larger oven dish for cottage pie there are 8 people, Sharper knives, a bigger clothes horse for drying towels etc, 2 towels per person, 1 hand 1 bath and 2 tea towels, a bath mat for the downstairs bathroom. We were left a few tea bags a little sugar and coffee but it would have been nice to have a pint of milk and a few dishwasher tablets to welcome us. The beds were extremely comfortable. Instructions for heating at least for the towel rails would have been a bonus as the weather didn’t allow for outside drying
