Guests say

Guests have had a positive experience at Lisboa, praising its spaciousness, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches such as welcome packs and fresh flowers. The property's location is highly regarded for its proximity to the town centre, beach, and attractions. Comfort is noted with ample bathrooms and good sleeping arrangements, though some minor suggestions for improvement are mentioned. The property is well-equipped, with some feedback on maintenance and facilities.

Most guests found the property to be very clean, with fresh linen and a tidy environment. There was a single mention of pet hair and cleanliness issues, but this seems to be an outlier compared to the overall positive feedback.

The location is consistently praised for being close to the town centre, beach, and main attractions, with easy access to everything guests needed. Parking was mentioned as a concern but not a significant issue.

The property is generally considered comfortable, with good bedding and a relaxing living area. However, some guests noted that certain beds were of poor quality and that light from outside could be an issue for sleep.

Facilities are well-regarded with modern appliances and a well-equipped kitchen, though some guests noted areas for improvement such as the kitchen's dated appearance and minor maintenance issues.

Guests frequently mentioned and appreciated the thoughtful welcome packs and fresh flowers. While these gestures are warmly received, it should be noted that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

About this property

This impressive, well-presented, mid-terrace Victorian townhouse is located in a premier spot, midway between North Shore and West Shore beaches, in the award-winning town of Llandudno on the North Wales coast. This delightful and stylish holiday home is just a few moments’ walk from the pier, promenade and main shopping area of this popular seaside town, making it ideal for two or three families with children, or a group of friends looking for an enjoyable coastal holiday filled with exciting memories. Entering through the front patio garden into a well-presented hallway, the property stretches back, passing the main sitting room, with its stylish furnishings and bay window providing a light and airy feel to the room, and leads through into a central dining room which can be used as a media room when dining formalities have ended. The kitchen offers everything needed for an enjoyable stay, with a large utility room housing all the appliances needed. Also to the rear of the ground floor is a cosy single room with en-suite shower room. The remaining bedrooms over the first and second floors are made up of a selection of four family rooms, including three with double and single beds, and a bunks room. Two of these bedrooms benefit from en-suite facilities, whilst all have basins in them, as well as the latest Smart TV. Outside to the front is a pretty patio area with a bench seat where you can sit and watch the world go by, whilst to the rear, trestle bench picnic tables have been provided to allow you a further social area to get together and relax over a meal and a bottle of wine. There is so much to do close by, you can park your car on the road outside free of charge all week. Take the tram up the Great Orme, enjoy a cable car ride from Happy Valley Gardens, followed by a toboggan run or a dry ski slope session, then perhaps have a game of crazy golf, or if you would rather, visit one of the 8 golf courses within 15 minutes’ drive. The Victorian pier is worth a visit for an ice cream, or just stroll along the promenade and enjoy a Punch and Judy show. Numerous walks radiate from the area, with circular walks around the Great Orme, and coastal walks in both directions leading to Conwy and Rhos-on Sea opening up superb cliff top views. A fantastic cottage, perfect for a family get-together.

The seaside town of Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme. The town offers two beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes. For the best views, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile.

Thank you for the welcome pack and the flowers were beautiful.

It was well equipped for all 16 of us. The children (5,5,3 and 2) enjoyed the jigsaws provided and playing in general. The adults enjoyed the opportunity to relax and be together. The hosts provided fresh flowers and a welcome pack of goodies for which we thank them. The only downside was that, although the family rooms were great for our party, the oldest couple were left with the bunk bed room - not perfect.

The bathrooms were great with powerful hot showers despite the number of us using them. The outdoor seating area was nice but the outdoor rug maybe not practical with dog visitors. Our only negatives: Some of the beds were very poor quality, the double bed on the top floor you could see the springs never mind feel them ! The blinds in the bedroom let all the light in making for a poor nights sleep. Please consider some curtains or better blinds. Overall a great stay we would consider staying again.
