Guests say

Sea View Terrace in Conwy is a well-regarded cottage praised for its cleanliness, modern decor, and comfortable super king bed. Its central location is convenient for exploring local attractions, though parking can be challenging. The property is equipped for a pleasant stay, with a fabulous shower room and a well-stocked kitchen, but could benefit from additional seating and clearer refuse instructions. A welcome pack adds a thoughtful touch.

Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, describing it as spotless and one of the cleanest stays they've had. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.

The cottage's central location in Conwy is highly appreciated for its proximity to shops, the harbour, and attractions. However, parking difficulties due to tight spaces and unclear markings slightly detract from the convenience.

The comfort of the property is frequently mentioned, with particular praise for the super king bed and the shower. However, suggestions for additional comfortable seating in the living room indicate room for improvement.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and excellent shower room. Criticisms include a lack of cutlery, the need for a mop, and confusion over refuse collection, indicating some areas for maintenance and improvement.

The provision of a welcome pack with essentials is mentioned positively, reflecting the owners' thoughtfulness. While such gestures are appreciated, it is important to note that they are not guaranteed and may vary.

Your holiday begins as soon as you set foot in the impressive open-plan living area which hosts a relaxing sitting area and is somewhere you can imagine curling up together to catch up on each other’s news or just to zone out and watch your favourite TV programme. When bedtime calls, make your way upstairs to the immaculately-presented master bedroom which comes complete with a sumptuous super king-size bed just waiting for you to sink into and relax. Conwy is a beautiful town which offers both a wealth of history together with all the modern shops and eateries you would expect. It isn’t hard to see why it has been designated as a World Heritage Site with the ruins of its castle making a spectacular focal point for the town. Whatever time of year you visit, there is sure to be something on in the town or just enjoy browsing through the quaint streets where you will find a great selection of independent shops and boutiques as well as traditional pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. The town is also a great base for exploring the rest of North Wales with dramatic Snowdonia National Park a short drive away as well as some wonderful beaches along the coastline. Other attractions worth visiting include Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Surf Snowdonia, Happy Valley Botanical Gardens and Haulfre Gardens. The nearby town of Llandudno is well worth a visit with its pier, beaches, the Great Orme Tramway and bustling shopping streets. For a romantic getaway in Sea View Terrace gives guests a holiday location that offers the best of both worlds: a bustling country town on the doorstep with dramatic mountains, rolling countryside and miles of sandy beaches within a short distance.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is unquestionably well-known around the world for its historical and architectural legacy, yet the centre of the town is a hive of busy activity. There are numerous specialised stores, eateries, and motels in addition to its traditional festivals and fairs, musical performances, galleries, and tourist attractions. Conwy Castle, which was constructed for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, is still regarded as one of the finest examples of mediaeval military construction. The castle's unusual, elongated shape—complete with two barbicans, eight enormous towers, and a large bow-shaped hall—was likely influenced by the castle's location on a small rocky outcrop. The Gwledd Conwy Feast, the Honey Fair, the Seed Fair, and other yearly festivals, events, and fairs, as well as other musical occasions throughout the year, are just a few of the town's many annual celebrations of its historical traditions, which it is pleased to uphold. Conwy is the ideal starting point for exploring the stunning Snowdonia National Park, strolling along undeveloped sandy beaches, or taking in the breathtaking nature right outside your door. The Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which have the longest zip line in Europe, are also close by, while Surf Snowdonia is only six miles distant.

Other than that we were very pleased with the cottage. Lovely and clean well maintained, great location. Bit tight on parking the car but fine. We had a great time and would not hesitate to book again the next time we are visiting Conwy.
