Guests say

Sunset Sands is a well-regarded apartment in Conwy, appreciated for its beautiful location and views. Guests find it a comfortable and well-equipped base for exploring North Wales, with many praising its cleanliness and the effort put into making it a home from home. While some minor maintenance issues and the proximity to a train line are noted, these do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.

The majority of guests report the apartment as clean and well-presented. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as mould in the shower and dust, which suggests room for improvement in cleaning standards.

The apartment's location is highly praised for its stunning views and proximity to the beach and local attractions. The train noise is noted but is generally not seen as a significant issue.

Guests find the apartment comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and cosy living space. Some guests mentioned the beds could be more comfortable, and the shower could be more accessible for those with mobility issues.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a few reports of issues with the dishwasher, shower, and heating. The presence of Sky TV and Wi-Fi are positives, although some guests were dissatisfied with the TV's functionality.

While guests appreciate the well-equipped apartment and the responsiveness of the owners, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate a level of thoughtfulness. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

Lovely, well stocked and comfy accommodation perfect for me and my dog for a week! Lidl and Tescos are both a few minutes drive away (Lidl has a fast EV charger) and the beach just a short walk away. I had takeaways delivered (Harbour View fish and chips were very nice!) and each night watched the beautiful sunsets from the sofa! Others mentioned an issue with the fencing re dogs but it wasn’t an issue for my dog… The property owners were very nice and helpful, we didn’t have any issues but felt they would have dealt with anything quickly had we needed them to. Overall a great little find, we’d happily return again!

We are getting on in years ,I am 86 and my sister is 92. A grab rail would have been most welcome in the shower.

Great to go to the closest beech. A very easy walk or cycle into Conwy and Llandudno or to get the train. Good local busses. It is a very quiet location, as other people staying there seem respectful of other tourists and of the local residents. The trains run during the day but are not noisy as they are going slowly into the station. Very well equipped kitchen, with pod coffee maker and everything you need and more. Comfortable bed. Comfortable sofa, good WIFI with sky tv. There is a nice outside seating area which could do with better seating, for two people to have loungers rather than one. A good place to stay.
