Guests say

Ty Conwy is a charming cottage praised for its location, modern decor, and the bonus of a hot tub. Guests appreciate the welcome pack and find the property well-equipped for a comfortable stay. While some guests have concerns about cleanliness and maintenance, the property's proximity to Conwy and added amenities generally contribute to a pleasant experience.

Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property spotless, while others reported issues with dust, dirty windows, and a lack of deep cleaning. The presence of cobwebs and pet odours were also noted, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to Conwy town, local shops, and attractions. Guests find it convenient for exploring North Wales, with easy access to amenities and scenic walks, contributing to a positive experience.

Comfort receives mixed feedback. Some guests mention comfy beds and a great shower, while others find the mattresses uncomfortable and the bathroom facilities inadequate. The presence of a hot tub is frequently seen as a positive aspect of comfort.

Facilities like the hot tub and smart TVs are appreciated, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as problems with the TV signal, the need for microwave-safe kitchenware, and general upkeep. These factors suggest that while the facilities are good, they could benefit from attention to detail.

Guests are delighted by the generous welcome pack, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed and not all reviews mention them, the score reflects the positive reception without setting an expectation of gifts for future guests.

The property had everything we needed for our stay. Great we didn't have to take our own towels and bedding. We loved the location, a 15 minute walk to Conwy Centre and easy access to explore North Wales. The locals were very welcoming. A local shop is near by for those essentials, not forgetting Wooseys Fish and Chips (the best by far) also just down the road. Dogs were welcome. There were bowls and a feed mat available should you need them. Would definitely consider staying again.

It was a nice staging post for seeing the sites around parts of North Wales & the hot tub at the property was a real bonus & a great thing to have. We did have a couple of issues, we had trouble with the tv, netflicks stopped working & we could not get the BBC channels, I called the owner, Adam & he told me a previous guest back in July had messed up the system, he did tell me how to fix the problem, I filled his instructions, but for me they did not work, so it was a bit of inconvenience, but I did have my own netflicks on my laptop so we could watch it through the tv & we could watch the BBC channels through the BBC Iplayer. All the windows in the house could have done with a good clean, especially the front one in the lounge as the dirt was highlighted when the sun came around in the late afternoon, there were also cobwebs on the outside & inside of the patio doors & cobwebs on the back of the dining table on the left-hand side & they had all been there for a while, so that was a bit of a letdown

There was no live tv but on catch up plenty of things to watch. The location of the cottage was good to a local fish and chip shop where the staff was very friendly and there was a shop which I cannot comment on because we never used. There was a local field to walk your dog if you take your four legged friend with you just down the hill from the cottage .
