Tŷ Glas is a well-loved cottage praised for its cleanliness, comfortable amenities, and stunning sea views. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches for both humans and pets, the proximity to the beach, and the luxurious hot tub. The property is described as an ideal base for exploring South Wales, with a secure garden for pets and a quiet, relaxing location.
Guests consistently mention the cleanliness of Tŷ Glas, describing it as spotless and well-maintained. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and enjoyment of their stays.
The location is highly praised for its quiet atmosphere, proximity to the beach, and beautiful sea views. It serves as a great base for exploring South Wales. However, one review mentioned incorrect directions, slightly impacting the score.
The comfort of Tŷ Glas is frequently highlighted, with mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy environment. However, a few guests noted that the third bedroom was small for a double bed and the beds were a bit short for taller individuals.
Facilities like the well-equipped kitchen, smart TV, and hot tub are appreciated. However, there are minor concerns about the safety of the shower flooring and the lack of a place to dry wet gear.
Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful extras provided, such as welcome packs and dog amenities. While these gifts are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

We particularly enjoyed the view from the hot tub watching the sun set over the sea. Ogmore by sea is a lovely quiet relaxing spot with an excellent walk along the coast path to Southerndown. We also really enjoyed walking our dogs by the Ogmore river that flows into the estuary. We hope to return .

The house has everything you could need. Emma is just the friendliest of owners, she popped along to check the hot tub and she's just lovely. Really helpful guide book in the house helping you find places to eat and things to do locally. We will 100% be back as the house is a perfect location to go out and explore. Lovely neighbours also
