2 Ivy House is praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and as a cosy base for exploring Snowdonia. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like festive welcome packs, although some suggest improvements in living room comfort and the provision of local information.
Guests consistently describe the property as very clean, indicating high standards of cleanliness.
The property is appreciated for its proximity to activities in Snowdonia, though it is noted to be a bit distant from local amenities and not ideal for dog walking.
The bedrooms are commended for comfort, but several guests find the living room seating inadequate and suggest additional or more comfortable furniture.
There is insufficient information to accurately score facilities and maintenance, as reviews mention a well-equipped kitchen but also a lack of instructions for appliances.
The owner's thoughtfulness is noted with the provision of household items and a festive welcome pack, although such gifts are kindly mentioned as a pleasant surprise rather than an expectation.

A little distant from amenities (local shop, pub etc), but the property owner had thought of virtually everything (loo roll, tea towels - basically any of those household items that youâre likely to forget). The festive welcome pack was a really nice touch too (Xmas ale and mince pies)! Very clean and child friendly (snug, but definitely adequate for a family of four for a few days). The lounge fire makes the place so cosy! Would 100% recommend, and would happily return!

Perfect location for accessing activities in the Dee Valley and Snowdonia. Would benefit from an extra seat / bean bag in the front room - teenage boys don't like sitting so close to their parents on the sofa. Also needs a welcome book about how to work appliances and advice about bins /recycling. Thanks for accomdating us at very late notice, we had a fabulous break!
