Guests say

Guests generally enjoyed their stay at Tyn Y Ceubren Bach, praising the welcoming hosts, delicious brownies, and the hot tub. The property's location is appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and peacefulness. While the interior comfort and cleanliness receive positive remarks, there are concerns about ongoing building works and a lack of privacy outdoors.

The property is described as clean and tidy by most guests, with specific mentions of a very clean house and comfortable beds. However, there is no explicit detail on the overall cleanliness to provide a perfect score.

The location is highly regarded for its peacefulness, proximity to the town, and accessibility to local attractions. The scenic views from the balcony are frequently mentioned as a highlight.

Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of cosy evenings by the log burner and comfortable beds. However, some guests experienced issues with the hot tub not being ready upon arrival, affecting the comfort score.

The facilities, including the hot tub and balcony, are well-received. Nonetheless, ongoing building works, rubbish around the property, and a lack of privacy due to workmen detract from the overall experience. Some guests also noted a lack of kitchen essentials.

The hosts are consistently praised for their thoughtfulness, with several mentions of welcome gifts such as brownies and wine. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is important to note that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Comfortable & clean & the hot tub is a real bonus. Comfortable beds ... albeit the one in the main bedroom with the balcony was a little soft & small for us (only a double) so we used the other bedroom but that's personal preference. Amazing views from the balcony, just perfect for relaxing with a glass of fizz! Would highly recommend.

The kitchen lacked quite a lot of essential items; including: washing up liquid, washing up bowl , only 1 dishwasher tablet provided, oven gloves, bread knife, wooden spoons, serving bowls, casserole dish, bin bags (there was a kitchen bin with no bag in it and none to be found). It would have been nice to have a clothes airer. The tin opener could do with an upgrade. The cottage itself was comfortable, clean and warm. Great that you can park right outside. The hot tub was excellent and stargazing from that was awesome! WiFi was reliable and quick.
