Guests consistently praise 'The West Wing' for its homely charm, beautiful gardens, and welcoming hosts. The property's cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches, such as a welcome basket, contribute to a delightful stay. Its location offers convenient access to local attractions and scenic walks, despite some mentions of road noise. The unique decor and well-equipped facilities add to the cottage's appeal, making it a highly recommended choice for a relaxing holiday.
Reviewers frequently commend the property for its spotless condition, indicating meticulous attention to cleanliness. The consistent mention of a clean and welcoming environment supports a high score in this category.
The property's location is appreciated for its proximity to local shops, the sea, and walking trails. However, a few guests noted traffic noise and the lack of a footpath to the pub, slightly affecting the score.
The comfort of the beds, sofas, and overall ambience of the cottage is highlighted in many reviews. A couple of mentions of soft mattresses and hard conservatory chairs slightly lower the score.
Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped and extensive. Some guests expressed concerns about underfloor heating issues and dim lighting, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance.
Many guests mention thoughtful gestures such as welcome treats and helpful advice from the hosts. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, although likely, are not guaranteed.

The owners, who live in the attached house, were very friendly and helpful giving us tips on dog friendly walks and offering us produce from their garden. We had a lovely week and are looking forward to going back again.
