Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, ample facilities, and the responsiveness of the owner to any issues. The location is ideal for exploring North Wales, with easy access to local amenities and attractions. While some minor maintenance points are noted, the overall experience is one of a relaxing and enjoyable stay, with many guests eager to return.

The cottage generally maintains good cleanliness, with some guests finding it spotless. However, a few reviews mention areas needing attention, such as pet odours, mouldy silicone, and the need for a more thorough vacuuming due to pet-friendliness.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to local amenities and attractions in Chirk and Llangollen. The convenience of nearby shops and pubs adds to the appeal, making it a desirable base for exploring North Wales.

Guests find the house comfortable and relaxing, with spacious rooms and cosy living areas. The presence of en-suite bedrooms and a large family bathroom contributes to the comfort level, although some feedback suggests room for improvement in certain aspects.

The property is well-equipped, with guests satisfied with the available amenities. However, there are comments on maintenance issues such as a tripping oven, blocked toilet, and non-working extraction and towel rails, which slightly detract from the overall facilities score.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Outstanding views, everything you need is here. Home from home. So peaceful and relaxing. Not too far from main attractions. The only sound you hear is birds singing. We had Beautiful weather. Comfy beds, ensuits for all bedrooms. There was a separate utility room. Would recommend to friends and family.

Near to Chirk and Llangollen and it's local attractions (don't recommend the back road though) Some lovely pubs nearby. It was great that we could take our 2 dogs. We would highly recommend Bryn Golau

The house is beautiful and really comfortable and relaxing inside. The windows in the lounge make it even more special, I could have happily stayed in that one room the whole time. The kitchen has everything you need and was clean and tidy. The one tiny thing I noticed when we first arrived was that the kitchen did smell of dog. I'm not a dog owner so I probably notice it more and I know the property welcomes dogs so I wasn't surprised. But after the first day the smell was gone. I wondered if it might be worth getting a plug in air freshener just to use between stays to help clear out the smell? But really it didn't spoil anything, it was just the only thing I noticed that I could criticise! The area itself it pretty of course, amazing view from the lounge and we went walking around the village a couple of times. The shop at the bottom of the road is really convenient and less than 2 mins walk. The pub was really nice inside but we didn't eat there as they couldn't fit us in so we went to the swan inn down the road and had a really good meal there. We loved staying here and we're already looking at when we can book to come back for longer.
