Y Caban in Llangollen offers a rustic, cosy retreat with stunning views and a peaceful, rural setting. Guests appreciate the homely feel, log burner, and dog-friendly environment. The games room and garden add to the enjoyment, despite some maintenance issues. It's perfect for nature lovers and those seeking tranquillity.
Mixed feedback on cleanliness, with some guests finding the games room dirty and cobweb-ridden, while others did not raise any concerns. The presence of spiders was noted, but this may be expected in a rural cabin setting.
The location is highly praised for its quietness, lack of light pollution, and proximity to nature. However, one review mentioned an issue with noise from a nearby property, which seems to be an isolated incident.
Guests find the cabin cosy and the setting very rural, contributing to a comfortable stay. Some concerns were raised about thin mattresses and visibility into the bathroom, suggesting room for improvement in privacy and bedding.
The facilities, including a games room and log fire, are generally appreciated, but there are reports of maintenance issues like holes in the wood and birds getting into the games room. No mention of gifts, so this category cannot be scored.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.
