Guests generally enjoy their stay at Classic Lodge 25, appreciating the friendly staff and the leisure spa. The property is noted for its comfort and the option to bring dogs is a plus. Some concerns were raised about maintenance issues and parking, but overall, the property offers a good value experience with the potential for relaxation and enjoyment.
The property is described as clean and well-presented, though one review mentioned a wet carpet and a dog smell in a dog-friendly lodge. No other negative comments about cleanliness were noted.

It was clean but did have a dog smell. (I chose a doggie lodge as I wanted the option to invite a friend I was visiting in Wales over for coffee with her dogs, but we always went out!). The shower was big and always had plenty of hot water. The spa was a bit disappointing. The jacuzzi was attached to the pool and was cold (we had goosebumps!), the sauna had 'turned itself off' so was only 50 rather than 80 as it heated back up, but the steam room was good. We ate at the restaurant the first night and enjoyed our food and drinks. We were given vegan custard without being told it was vegan, but the colour and consistency of it looked all wrong. This was sorted quickly and yummy ice-cream was brought out very quickly to go with the delicious sticky toffee pudding! Huge range of cocktails on offer too.

When discussed with staff, they said it had been deep cleaned prior to us arriving. The cabin was clean and well presented but unfortunately with the carpet being so wet, there was a strong damp smell throughout. The shower was cold. This was mentioned to the reception staff, no one came to sort it. Due to having PTSD, I have a service dog. I explained this to staff but unfortunately this wasnât passed down and I was repeatedly questioned by multiple staff (some lovely, some not so kind) about this even though she had her labelled harness on. Unfortunately, 1 member of the bar staff was extremely rude- when I went to the bar to get a drink she was standing with her work colleague, looked me up and down and said to her work colleague âYou can sort that oneâ. There was a dog roaming around outside the cabins, pooing everywhere which the owner didnât clean up even though there are lots of dog bins. I had to point this out to staff. I refuse to pick up other peopleâs dogs poo. On leaving, there were two males sat in their car on the carpark right outside reception smoking very strong cannabis. Marian staff were seen walking past the car but nothing was mentioned. The car parking spaces were small and the disabled parking spaces were small too, there was only 4 and were being used by people in large trucks with no blue badges displayed. As a disabled badge owner, this is extremely frustrating!! I would like to say on a positive note- Jason the handyman was an absolute godsend and I wished I got to thank him before we left.
