The small village of Pwllglas lies four miles south of the hilltop town of Ruthin, which lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. Within the village you will find a small shop with a quaint cafe, perfect for enjoying a coffee and cake before exploring the surrounding area which includes a nearby butterfly conservation area and an old fort. Within Ruthin, you will find a larger selection of amenities and on its doorstep is Lake Brenig, Moel Famau, Loggerheads Country Park and Clocaenog Forest.

Very dog friendly even supplied dog towelâs dog treats and toys. Secure garden which is much bigger than you see on the website photos. Cottage is clean spacious adorable peaceful and feels loved. We loved our stay there and will definitely book again.

The garden was perfect! There was everything we needed and the cottage was very clean! Our only slight issue was with the shower it went from scolding hot to freezing cold super quickly and it was either really powerful or just dribbling out. However we were able to use it and everything else was absolutely perfect! Thank you!
