Guests say

Quarry Cottage is highly praised for its cleanliness, stunning views, and cosy atmosphere. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including welcome packs for both humans and dogs. The location offers beautiful scenery and is ideal for dog walking, with some guests noting it's perfect for a peaceful getaway. While the cottage is described as small, it is also seen as well-equipped and comfortable, with a secure garden and efficient heating.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being clean, tidy, and well-maintained. This consistent praise across reviews suggests a very high standard of cleanliness.

The location is frequently described as beautiful and peaceful, with stunning views and good walks for dogs. However, one review mentioned the fencing may not be suitable for large dogs, and another noted the beach is not within walking distance, slightly lowering the score.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with the cottage described as cosy and warm. However, a few guests found the space cramped and the mattress too soft, which slightly reduces the comfort score.

Facilities are considered good, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and efficient heating. Some guests suggested improvements like better outdoor lighting and the addition of a hot tub, indicating room for enhancement in facilities and maintenance.

Guests frequently mention and appreciate the thoughtful welcome packs for both humans and dogs, contributing to a high thoughtfulness score. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Thank you! Really dog friendly with secure garden. Cosy cottage with very efficient heating ( the weather was pretty bad at times!) and well equipped for a small cottage. Shop and dog friendly pub nearby, fairly central for touring. Enjoyed our glass of wine in the garden in the sunshine when we got there. Bit wet and cold after that! But had a relaxing time.
