Keen mountain bikers will love Coed y Brenin (29 miles), where you’ll discover a vast network of woodland trails to explore. The Berwyn Mountains are the perfect place to get away from it all, often considerably quieter than neighbouring Eryri. Stride out along the long-distance North Berwyn Way, take a relaxing stroll by one of the many waterfalls, or climb to the summit of Cadair Berwyn for breathtaking, 360-degree views.

When day turns to night, climb the statement spiral staircase to the double bedroom on the mezzanine floor.
