The cottage's location is highly praised for its convenience to shops, restaurants, and Snowdon, making it an excellent base for hiking and exploring the area.

Located in the village of Llanberis at the foot of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park in North Wales, rests this pleasant terraced home, 9 Ty Du Road. Ideal for avid walkers with its plethora of trails and close to amenities with everything you need for a self-catered stay, this lovely property is a wonderful base for a family or four friends! On arrival, leave your vehicle in the off-road parking space before climbing a handful of steps to reach the entrance leading into a hallway. On your left, discover the sitting room, where you can unwind on the sofa, as the woodburning stove crackles and the TV plays your favourite shows. Moving through the home, locate the kitchen/diner, hosting an electric oven and hob to prepare delectable meals and gather around the table to tuck-in. On sunny days, venture outside into the rear garden; here you can bask in the sun on the garden furniture and watch the sunset as you savour a glass of wine. When the sky grows dark, retire inside, climb the stairs, and prepare for bed in the contemporary shower room with a walk-in shower. Take your pick between a double and bunk bedroom to rest your head, both offering ample storage to keep your holiday clothes neat and tidy. Start the day with a steaming cup of coffee in the garden and why not open up a book to relish the quiet setting? Situated near two lakes, 9 Ty Du Road is a great base for the adventurous, so lace up your walking boots to explore the landscape; be sure to see the dramatic waterfall at Ceunant Mawr Waterfall! Soak in the sights on a traditional steam train, tour the 13th-century Dolbadarn Castle and afterwards reward yourself with a pint at the local pub. Visit the royal town of Caernarfon, home to a castle, an expansive golf course and a climbing centre to put yourself to the test! Also worth a visit is the village of Betws-y-Coed, where you can walk along rocky paths to admire Swallow Falls and have an action-packed afternoon at Zip World Fforest. For a special escape to North Wales, secure a stay at 9 Ty Du road.
Llanberis, which is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris, and is one of the most popular mountain tourist destinations in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, is dominated by the magnificence of the Snowdon Massif. Llanberis is a paradise for walkers and climbers, as it is the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon, England's and Wales' highest mountain. The Snowdon Mountain Railway can be used to go to the peak, or one of the several routes to the summit can be taken on foot.
