Guests say

Ty Coch is a highly praised cottage, cherished for its stunning views, peacefulness, and cosy atmosphere. Guests celebrate the hot tub and the added touches like soft towels, dressing gowns, and remote candles. The hosts are commended for their responsiveness and hospitality. While some minor issues are noted, the overall sentiment is one of a magical, secluded retreat ideal for relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty of North Wales.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests frequently noting its well-maintained and tidy condition. The provision of clean towels and bed linen is particularly appreciated, contributing to a comfortable and hygienic environment.

The location is celebrated for its exceptional views and tranquillity, offering a perfect escape into nature. Its seclusion and proximity to scenic landscapes are highly valued, although the approach via a bumpy track and the lack of nearby amenities are minor drawbacks for some.

Comfort is well-regarded with a cosy setting and modern amenities. The bed is noted for its comfort, and the outdoor furniture is appreciated. However, some guests mention the proximity of the toilet to the wall and sink as a slight discomfort for larger individuals.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the hot tub and kitchen appliances. However, some guests mention a desire for more cutlery and glasses, and occasional issues with the water supply and heating of the hot tub, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests delighted by welcome gifts such as Prosecco and chocolates. While these gestures are warmly received, it is politely noted that such gifts, though a lovely surprise, are not guaranteed for every stay.

I loved that it was away from everyone and we could well and truly relax. The property itself was well maintained and had everything we needed. It is on the side of the hill so there were lovely views across the countryside to Cardigan Bay, and with low light pollution the stars were stunning (ideal for astrophotography). The Prosecco, dressing gowns and slippers were a lovely touch, thank you.

It would be very useful to have instructions on the appliances, and any improvements to the potholes leading to the farm would be appreciated but did not detract from the enjoyment of our holiday. A clear indication of the drop down of the step from the bedroom area is a must, which can be quite dangerous, especially if you are carrying something.

The track road in places may be a little bumpy to up to the cottage, but worth it to get to this idyllic location. The cottage itself inside is modern, comfortable and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. It's a perfect base for trips out, but also ideal to just stay in and enjoy the amenities, serenity, tranquility and the most stunning views this property has to offer. Owen and Lola are great hosts and are there if you need them, but respect your privacy at the same time. We would 100% recommend Ty Coch and are hoping to return soon to this beautiful setting.
