Guests say

Guests generally appreciate the Llwyn Gwalch Estate for its excellent location near the beach and its comfortable setting. The property is praised for its cleanliness, private garden, and homely feel. Some guests encountered minor maintenance issues and suggested updates to the welcome book, but these did not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.

The property is mostly described as clean and well-presented. However, one review mentioned cobwebs and an unkempt garden, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and the ease of access, making it an ideal spot for beachgoers and those looking to explore the area.

The property is generally found to be comfortable and well-equipped, with a homely feel. Some guests mentioned issues with bed setup and a feeble shower, but these were exceptions rather than the rule.

Facilities are good overall, with a well-stocked kitchen and private garden. However, there were comments about internet connectivity, a non-secure garden for pets, and maintenance issues like a sticky lock and a missing bed leg.

While guests mentioned a goody bag, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency of such thoughtful gestures across all stays. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such gifts will be provided.

Everything was clean and comfortable. A great base for walking and exploring the Llyn.

No checks had obviously been done before our occupation, cobwebs throughout, weeds growing on the patio and garden generally unkempt, outside bins had not been emptied for a considerable time and then we had an issue with the water stopcock not being turned on properly resulting in low water pressure so shower not working and very limited cold water in the upstairs bathroom. I have an ongoing compensation claim listing other faults with the property which I hope will be settled favourably Case Ref COR-384232-CF. Not a stress free holiday and I was consistently chasing up Sykes to get the shower situation sorted out.

We know Morfa Nefyn well from previous stays so really appreciated the easy access to the beach via the back garden gate. Our only two minor issues were that the lock on the inner front door became very sticky. We did try and ease it with WD40 but it was still a little temperamental. Also, in the pink twin bedded room a bed leg was missing but as we didn’t need to use this bed it was not really a problem to us but might be to others. Thank you for helping us enjoy another lovely stay in Morfa Nefyn.
