Y Bwthyn Ty Du is a well-received cottage in North Wales, praised for its beautiful setting, cleanliness, and well-equipped facilities. Guests enjoyed the peaceful location, the secure garden for pets, and the cosy atmosphere with a woodburner. Some concerns were raised about the comfort of the lounge furniture and the garden's security for smaller dogs. The property's tranquillity and proximity to local attractions make it a favoured choice for a relaxing holiday.

The cottage is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with several guests noting it was spotless upon arrival. The attention to cleanliness, including the thorough cleaning between guests, contributes to the high score.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions. It offers a peaceful retreat while still being accessible to beaches and towns. The rural setting and wildlife are appreciated by guests.

The beds and bedrooms are frequently mentioned as comfortable and cosy. However, there are mixed reviews about the lounge furniture, with some guests finding it uncomfortable, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and modernised bathroom. Some guests experienced issues with the shower and garden security, but overall, the facilities met the needs of most visitors.

While many reviews express satisfaction with the cottage's amenities and the thoughtful touches, there is no specific mention of gifts provided by the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to score this category.

Exquisite decor. Everything we needed, except maybe a pizza cutter and the bin bags weren't under the sink, but everything was top quality and in excellent condition. Bed was super comfy. We loved spending the evenings in front of the fire. We even had a games night or too and completed a jigsaw. Got a bit worried on the last night when the stream started to come towards the front door, but it thankfully receded. Superb location for exploring the area and for a peaceful recharging of our bodies. Our Staffy loved it too. Thank you.

Well situated for so many attractions

On the negative side; I guess necessarily due to size, the lounge furniture was very small and uncomfortable to spend an evening sat down in. The TV signal drops off a great deal. Please consider removing the 'Head clonker' as we called it - the utensil thing dangling over the worktop! That said we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in some exceptional weather.
