Bodfan is an attractive, semi-detached home nestled in the seaside village of Morfa Nefyn, North Wales. This large, three-storey home is pet-friendly and just moments away from a beautiful beach, ideal for family and friends. On arrival, be greeted by off-road parking before stepping inside to unload your luggage and explore your holiday home. The sitting room features two sofas, an armchair and a Sky Glass TV for a movie marathon, the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. Prepare home-cooked meals in the kitchen/diner, hosting an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher to ease your self-catered stay. Gather at the dining table to tuck-into delicious meals or venture outside to the garden, where you can enjoy an alfresco affair on the decked area in the sun. When day draws to night, head indoors and up to the first floor to indulge in a leisurely soak in the bath or to freshen up in the separate shower. The first floor also hosts two well-presented bedrooms, a double and a twin bedroom with a TV whilst the second floor has a king-size with a TV, a double and another twin bedroom. The quaint village of Morfa Nefyn is home to a sandy shore to build sandcastles, a village store to grab your groceries and a handful of pubs/cafes to treat yourselves to dining out. Visit the small town of Nefyn for a greater selection of shops, pubs, and eateries; here you can tee up at the golf course and sunbathe on the sweeping beach. A garage, a charming village store with a cafe, two bars, and restaurants are all present in Morfa Nefyn. Along with the amenities of the neighbouring towns of Pwllheli, Abersoch, and the quaint village of Boduan, Nefyn also has a variety of stores, a post office, bars, and restaurants. There are fishing, sailing, and watersports accessible, and the area's coastline is lined with castles and coves. 25 miles distant is the Snowdonia National Park, which offers stunning treks, dramatic landscapes, and a variety of outdoor activity centres for tourists who are more active.

There was no central heating, we had issues with this from day 1 and tried for 6 days to contact Sykes cottages or the owner to rectify. No no response to any of my emails, messages, WhatsAppâs or phone calls. There were broken blinds, curtains, damp walls and no central heating as the thermostat had been locked so you couldnât operate it. This was not the comfortable holiday home we were expecting, the only thing going for it was the location. I would not recommend the property or Sykes cottages, and will be following up this feedback.

There was a Nespresso machine, and I was gutted I didn't bring my pods with me, we brought hairdryers and irons and they were there too. Great house to stay in, we went for 3 days of golf and it was absolutely fantastic 10/10 but please just update the amenities as you offer a lot more than you are taking credit for

It was a little cold on arrival and we were unable to operate the heating but that was quickly resolved. Iâm sure weâll be back!
