Manaros Cottage in Pwllheli is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its spaciousness, high-quality furnishings, and suitability for disabled guests. The property's location in North Wales & Snowdonia offers scenic beauty and proximity to the beach. While some maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with the owners, Helen and Peter, often mentioned for their helpfulness.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests finding it very clean upon arrival. However, one review mentioned a dirty floor, which slightly impacts the score.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and proximity to the beach and village. The steep hill to the village is noted, but overall, the location is considered excellent.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the property warm, but some furniture is described as low and soft, which may not suit everyone's needs. The sofas are mentioned as needing an upgrade for better comfort.
The facilities are well-regarded, especially for disabled guests, but several maintenance issues such as appliance instructions, a leaking toilet, and a faulty shower stool have been reported, affecting the score.
While the reviews reflect the owners' responsiveness and helpfulness, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Checked for another and none available other than a non weight acceptable camode. Shared cottage with loads of spider refugees lol. Cobwebs everywhere. The property whilst suitable for a wheelchair user apart from showering is based on the steepest Hill I have ever attempted to use in my wheelchair. Whilst a machine was provided I felt it unsafe to use in an extreme environment as the hill would not be safe at all. Apart from these issues the cottage is very nice and located well. The host were amazing with their help and assistance.

We had 3 small children with us, 2 of whom are not yet walking and shuffle around on their bottoms. Within a very short time they were filthy. The floor was extremely dirty. Too be fair the cleaner did offer to do it but my daughter-in-law decided to do it herself. On the 2nd day the electricity kept tripping off. Because we couldn't initially get hold of the owner we had to sort it ourselves. We isolated it to the dishwasher and turned that off. We did manage to eventually contact Sykes and they contacted the owner who said he would get someone to have a look but nothing happened for the rest of the week. The house had everything we needed apart from a bit of grass. ( This only of concern to us as we have a very ladylike dog who will not go to the toilet on anything else.) We were lucky to have beautiful weather except for the Sunday when there was torrential rain. The gutters above the front and back doors were faulty resulting in cascades of water which had to be negotiated on leaving or entering. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of crockery etc. Brilliant location and would definitely recommend for a Family group or group of Friends.
