Boasting the perfect combination of charming period features mixed with extra special contemporary touches, this rustic yet homely farmhouse nestled on the Llyn Peninsula is the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway with loved ones. Miles of sandy beaches and windswept coastal footpaths await to be explored from the doorstep.
The sumptuous bold colour palette and roaring wood burner set an endlessly cosy tone in the lounge, which invites you to hunker down on the comfy sofa and share stories of the day’s adventure. Bursting with period features including an impressive stone ornamental fireplace and exposed ceiling beams, the kitchen/diner is the perfect spot to admire the cottage’s rich history whilst rustling up a hearty locally sourced feast to feed the crowd seated around the rustic dining table. Sensitively designed with both comfort and characterful features in mind, upstairs you have a choice of four bedrooms, one king-size, two doubles and one twin, to retire to for a dreamy night’s rest before tomorrow’s adventure. Catch sheep and cattle roaming the surrounding working fields as you dine alfresco on the patio in the enclosed garden.
From water sports including surfing, sailing, coasteering and paddleboarding, to the beauty spots of Botwnnog (2 miles), Plas Y Rhiw (3.5 miles) and Hells Mouth Beach (4 miles), this coastal spot in North Wales has something for the whole family to enjoy. Nestled on the south-east corner of the Llyn Peninsula, the seaside town of Abersoch 4.5 miles away has a fantastic selection of independent shops, bars and restaurants serving some of the best local produce this area has to offer. Visit the famous Whistling Sands at Porthor 9 miles away or head to Nefyn 10 miles away to dive into the local history at the maritime museum and harbour.
