Guests say

7 Marina View is a well-situated apartment in Pwllheli with beautiful views and convenient access to local amenities. Guests appreciate the modern cleanliness, secure parking, and the thoughtful touches from the owners. While some guests mention issues with noise and maintenance, the majority enjoyed their stay, highlighting the property's comfort and location as ideal for exploring North Wales & Snowdonia.

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with several guests finding the apartment clean and comfortable, while others reported issues with cleanliness in certain areas. The property seems to be well-kept for the most part, but there are instances where guests felt a deeper clean was necessary.

The location is generally praised for its convenience and stunning marina views. It is close to shops, bars, and the beach, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. However, some guests found the proximity to the train station and the associated noise to be a drawback.

Guests find the apartment to be comfortable, with a family of four sleeping comfortably and a welcoming atmosphere. Some guests, however, mentioned uncomfortable beds and issues with light in the bedrooms affecting their sleep.

The apartment is described as well-equipped and stylish, with facilities like a wine cooler and secure parking. Nonetheless, there are comments about maintenance issues such as damaged furniture, a non-operational shower, and problems with the heating system that suggest room for improvement.

Several guests were delighted by the thoughtful gestures of treats left by the owners, which added to their positive experience. It is important to note that such gestures are at the discretion of the owners and may not be a consistent offering for all stays.

The floor was very dirty and toilets not very clean. (My children’s socks were very brown on the bottom, we had to wear shoes inside)! The beds are very uncomfortable, the mattresses are very springy and need replacing. The upstairs toilet does not flush properly and leaves an unpleasant drainage smell after use. There are no towel hooks to dry your towels after use. That said, it is a nicely furnished and well equipped apartment in a nice area. Reference to the close proximity to the train station should also be mentioned, as it is very close, and the end of a Trainline where trains are ‘stabling’ (sitting with engines running) at the end of a run. This starts at around 0530 and finishes around 2330. I would not return for these reasons.

Other than that great place to stay had everything we needed and close to the town .

The bedrooms had not been cleaned properly. There was a sign in the bedroom left over from Covid requesting beds be stripped before leaving. This I objected to having paid so much. The beds and bedding were of poor quality and not very comfortable. Drawers were messy and leaflets left over from the Summer still there. The fridge was not secure and could have been dangerous if a child had been there. Bulbs in the lamp not working. Pots and pans in a random cupboard hidden by a chair. The dining table wobbled badly and being of glass was a bit worrying. It felt like the property needed a complete overhaul. Very disappointing.
