Positioned just a 10 minute walk from the beach within the charming village of Llanbedrog, Ferndale is a delightful mid-terrace cottage. Ideal for a small family and their four-legged friend, this welcoming retreat has been well-appointed with all the essential amenities and a few added extras, sure to add a touch of luxury to your stay. Enter into the living/dining room, tastefully decorated with contemporary seating and an alluring woodburner, here you can unwind following a day of outdoor rambles, tuning into the TV or discussing with your loved ones on where to visit next. Allow the chef of the house to get acquainted in the kitchen, offering a compact but well-equipped space with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer, ensuring you’ll have everything required for a convenient stay. Upstairs offers two attractive bedrooms; the master occupies a double bed while the second room offers a bunk with spacious walk-in wardrobe. Soothe your muscles with an evening bath or use the shower over for a refreshing start to the day. Continue out to the garden patio, complete with a set of table and chairs for alfresco dining, along with a lawned area where your pooch can stretch their legs. Just down the road lies The Ship Inn, a country pub where you can enjoy a British menu and beer garden, whilst there is also a second pub, café, fine dining restaurant and a convenience store if you would prefer to cook yourself. Visit Wales’ oldest art gallery at the Victorian Gothic Mansion or walk up Llanbedrog headland to visit the Tin Man and marvel at the gorgeous panoramic views across the bay to the Cambrian Mountains in the distance. For days out, head west to the seaside resort of Abersoch, a popular destination with tourists for its water sports, sandy beaches, bespoke shops and restaurants, providing entertainment for all the family. Those outdoor enthusiasts can access the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), covering 823 square miles of diverse landscapes, home to the highest mountain and the largest natural lake in Wales, as well as a number of picturesque villages, it is well worth a visit. In reach of a number of attractions, Ferndale offers a tranquil escape, whatever time of year.
Resting on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, the coastal village of Llanbedrog has been attracting tourists for many years. It offers a sheltered bay, ideal for family days at the seaside, as well as a choice of cafés, pubs and convenience stores. There are a network of coastal paths surrounding the village, while visitors can also see coastal birds such as oyster catchers and curlew that probe the expanse of sand at a low tide.
